The Company This FMCG manufacturing business has built a strong national presence through a continued focus on operational excellence, asset reliability, and continuous improvement across multiple workshops. Due to ongoing growth and investment, they are now recruiting for a Regional Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations across 10 sites nationally. The Role Reporting into the Head of Maintenance Operations and forming part of the leadership team, your responsibilities will include; • Develop and implement the regional maintenance strategy across 10 workshops. • Drive a proactive reliability and preventative maintenance culture across all operations, ensuring KPI’s around OEE, uptime, downtime, asset reliability, and safety are achieved. • Lead, mentor and develop site maintenance leaders and technical teams to improve capability and standardise best practice across the network. • Partner closely with maintenance & operations leaders to improve performance, reduce maintenance spend, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Oversee lifecycle management of plant assets including capital upgrades, obsolescence planning, and long-term maintenance planning. • Implement reliability centred maintenance practices including RCA, Fishbone Analysis, PM optimisation and predictive maintenance strategies. • Drive standardisation of maintenance systems, processes and reporting across the multi-site operation. • Support capital projects, site expansions, and equipment upgrades across the manufacturing network. Your Background In order to be successful in this role, you will be; • Degree or trade qualified within an engineering discipline, including mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or similar - Required. • Proven experience leading maintenance and reliability functions within a fast-paced FMCG or manufacturing environment. • Strong leadership experience, ideally across multiple teams & locations. • Extensive experience developing and implementing preventative and reliability-centred maintenance strategies. • Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies including Lean, 5S, Six Sigma and Root Cause Analysis techniques. • A strong people leader with the ability to influence stakeholders across operations, engineering, and executive leadership teams. • Excellent communication, problem-solving and strategic planning capabilities.
