Operational Excellence Leader
As a key leader, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, team development, and client satisfaction in the asphalt team.
* Lead the team to deliver pavement contracting services safely, profitably, and with operational excellence.
* Oversee project delivery, financial performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Develop regional business plans aligned with strategic objectives.
* Foster strong client relationships and promote innovative solutions.
* Empower staff through coaching, succession planning, and performance reviews.
* Drive compliance with integrated management systems and Zero Harm initiatives.
* Ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are met across all operations.
About You:
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
* A sound understanding of delivering asphalt, surfacing, paving, and/or minor civil works is preferred.
* Proven experience in project operations management at a senior level.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
* Demonstrated ability to build stakeholder relationships and identify business opportunities.
* Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
* Sound knowledge of work health and safety and employee relations legislation.
