About the Role: We are currently seeking Senior Quality Engineers with strong SAP Functional and Integration Testing experience to join our team in Melbourne. You will play a critical role in validating end-to-end process and data flows between SAP and connected systems within a complex enterprise architecture. In addition to strong SAP Hana functional experience, the successful candidates will also have demonstrated expertise in Integration Testing—validating data and process flows between SAP and connected enterprise systems—is critical to succeed in this environment. As a Quality Engineer, you should bring strong knowledge of software development lifecycle models and demonstrate an ability to uplift quality through modern tools, processes, and collaboration. Strong communication skills are a must, as you’ll frequently be liaising with technical and business stakeholders, and reporting across the test lifecycle. You will also demonstrate hands-on experience across all testing phases—test planning and design, execution, defect management, reporting—as well as leadership skills in estimation, prioritisation and test team coordination. Essential Skills and Experience: Strong background in System Integration Testing, with focus on end-to-end validation of SAP and non-SAP systems Proven experience testing across SAP ECC and/or S/4 HANA, including modules such as SD, FI, CO, etc. Solid understanding of SAP ERP and how external systems integrate into them Ability to validate interface mapping, conduct data reconciliation, and troubleshoot integration issues Skilled in reviewing both functional and non-functional requirements and designing detailed integration test cases Experienced in Application Integration testing and tools such as Postman, SOAPUI, or similar for interface validation Comfortable working in Agile and hybrid delivery environments Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration ISTQB Foundation / Advanced Test Analyst and/or Certified Agile Tester accreditation preferred Culture and Benefits: We believe in fostering a culture where our people are rewarded for the work they do and looked after from their first day at Planit! If you believe that this role is for you APPLY TODAY! www.planit.com Responsibilities Review requirements for testability Contribute to test plans and other high level documentation where required Collaborate with clients for user and systems requirements when documentation is insufficient Identify test conditions/ test objectives and derive test cases using advanced test techniques Identify and apply tools to assist with the acceleration of quality Create comprehensive test assets in the appropriate tools relevant to test conditions Utilise appropriate tools to execute test cases and report results Raise, track and close defects Set up a defect lifecycle process when required Report results as required to managers across the business Capable of working with Agile methodologies, collaborating with and across teams as required Qualifications Essential Skills and Experience: Experienced in traditional, iterative or Agile development practices Ability to work collaboratively with developers and other project members Possess in-depth experience as a senior test engineer in all areas of the SDLC Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Strong test experience in all areas of the SDLC, including system, SIT or UAT Collaborating with developers, business analysts and users to understand testing needs and identify automation opportunities Contribute to the continuous improvement of test quality by undertaking reviews and recommending improvements Possess a solid understanding of modern application deployment methodologies and cloud infrastructure Can effectively adapt to workload and issues to maintain momentum
