About the Role
This hands-on position involves delivering programs by supporting and maintaining our editing and design production facilities. You will work with cutting-edge technology, supporting studio and field production gear, editing, graphics, control rooms, and broadcast infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support and administer a broad range of systems and workstations (e.g. Active Directory, Adobe Creative Suite, Avid tools, Autodesk Flame, VMware, Quantum StorNext, Telestream, Signiant).
* Troubleshoot and resolve faults, perform upgrades, and manage post-production/design workstations, storage, and asset management systems.
* Contribute to system design, installation, and commissioning projects.
Requirements
You are an experienced Broadcast IT Support Technician with strong communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused, team-oriented mindset. You are proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive under pressure in fast-paced environments.
* Knowledge of television technology fundamentals and ability to use television tools and measuring equipment.
* Basic understanding of electronics, Windows/Linux administration, and IP networking.
* Strong teamwork, documentation skills, and the ability to interpret abstract signal paths.
* Previous experience in a broadcast engineering or support role, including experience working with Avid Editing systems.
