We are seeking an exceptional Wellbeing & Diversity Business Partner for a 12-month fixed term contract to join our People and Culture (P&C) team and play a key role in providing advice and support in the areas of diversity, wellbeing and work health and safety (WHS).
This role will report to the Director, People & Culture and the key responsibilities include:
* Assisting the Director, People & Culture to develop and maintain the Audit Office's diversity, inclusion and accessibility framework and roadmap, the Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy, and the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Framework.
* Leading the implementation and evaluation of the Audit Office's Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility Roadmap, driving improvements to programs and initiatives to ensure we have a diverse workplace, one that is representative of our community and where individuals feel valued, respected, and included.
* Leading the implementation and evaluation of the Audit Office's Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy, driving improvements to programs and initiatives to create a supportive work environment within the Audit Office, where staff health and wellbeing is prioritised.
* Delivering the work health and safety function to ensure the Audit Office meets WHS legislative requirements. This includes the areas of WHS policies and procedures, WHS Committee, WHS risk register, injury management, workers compensation, workplace assessments, workplace inspections, and the WHS action plan.
* Undertaking coordination, administration, and regular reporting activities in relation to the achievement of the Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility Roadmap, the Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy and WHS in general, including relevant targets and key performance indicators to enable effective delivery.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to identify needs and develop strategies and initiatives for improving diversity, wellbeing and WHS outcomes in the Office.
* Providing timely advice, guidance and coaching to the business in the areas of diversity, wellbeing, and WHS.
* Manage, administer and analyse the annual NSW People Matter Employee Survey (PMES), including reporting to the results to the Office Executive and working with branch heads to develop PMES action plans, as required.

What will you need to succeed?
We are seeking someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good professional judgement to solve problems. The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management, employees and other key stakeholders.
You will also need:
* Tertiary qualification in an appropriate people or business discipline or equivalent experience.
* Experience in work health and safety and/or diversity including developing and continuously improving programs, processes and practices.
* Strong administration and organisational skills and experience
* Australian permanent resident or citizen or New Zealand citizen

On offer is a 35-hour work week and a total remuneration package (including superannuation) from $119,689 to $150,940 per annum depending on your experience, skills and capabilities.

The Audit Office is committed to supporting flexible working arrangements to create a diverse, skilled and motivated workforce capable of delivering quality products and efficient services. Our standard way of working requires you to work at least 50% of contracted hours from either our head office, an auditee location, or a related worksite. If required, you can balance your attendance on-site over a month, with a minimum of one day per week in one of these locations.
