About the Opportunity:
A great opportunity to join a world leader in the Dairy Industry as a Maintenance Coordinator at our Clarence Gardens Site.
About the Role:
This position is responsible for the hands-on, day-to-day management of the Site's maintenance department including the allocation of tasks and rostering to respond to mechanical breakdowns, preventative maintenance activities and any other equipment repairs/installations.
Responsibilities include:
* Supervision and coordination of all Lactalis maintenance personnel and contractors reporting to this role, including rostering, timesheet management, performance oversight and coordination.
* Ensure the timely completion of both planned and unplanned maintenance works to support reliable factory operations and minimize plant downtime
* Provide technical support and oversight for daily maintenance activities to ensure prompt and accurate resolution of issues
* Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in Safety, Quality, and Efficiency, including participation in site-level and Capex projects
* Foster effective communication within the maintenance team and across other departments to support collaborative operations
* Mentor direct reports to support ongoing development of technical skills and professional growth
About You:
* Trade Qualified (Electrical &/or Mechanical) with hands-on experience within FMCG operations
* Experience in Dairy Industry or Beverage Bottling highly regarded
* Ability to identify mechanical and electrical issues and work to proactively resolve them
* Demonstrated leadership ability
* Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with multi-disciplinary departments
* Sound verbal and written communication skills
* Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to multitask and prioritise
