Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting duties that support financial reporting, compliance, and business performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare financial statements, budgets, and management reports
* Maintain general ledger accounts and perform reconciliations
* Analyse financial data and provide insights to management
* Assist with taxation and compliance tasks, including BAS lodgements
* Monitor financial performance and identify variances
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and legislation
Skills and Experience Required
* Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience
* Relevant accounting or finance qualification
* Sound understanding of accounting principles and practices
* Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
* Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
