Job Description

As a Senior Consultant within the Egis Rail business, you will be responsible for providing project-specific services that exceed client and/or project requirements. You will also be responsible for certifying design, testing, and acceptance activities of rolling stock.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Acting as the rolling stock Independent Certifier, certifying design, test, and acceptance.
* Providing technical matter expertise for DMU and EMU vehicles.
* Supervising T&C, product introduction, and other deliverables as required by future projects.
* Carrying out analytical & implementation tasks.
* Liaising and assisting with project reviews and the project team and communicating effectively with client staff.
* Completing all project administrative tasks as required inclusive of managing project reporting and financials.


Required Skills and Qualifications

Ideally, you will have at least 10 years' experience in a similar or related role with demonstrated expert knowledge of rolling stock within a consultancy environment.

You will also require:

* Tertiary qualifications in Mechatronic or a related Engineering discipline.
* CPEng or equivalent registration highly desired.
* RPEV/RPEQ highly desired but not mandatory.
* Demonstrated strong understanding of rollingstock standards and vehicle specifications.
* Proven technical expertise in Rolling Stock testing and verification activities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, and effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Exceptional written and planning skills.
* Confident to work autonomously with limited guidance.
* Analytical and technical mindset.
