An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Occupational Therapist - Home Visit Service. The Senior Occupational Therapist works within the medical and home visiting team at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Birtinya. This role involves travel within the health service, pre discharge and post discharge home visits according to prioritisation and demand. This role will include service review and development.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities
* This position requires you to adhere to National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and the Sunshine Coast Health Safe Care Framework, which has been developed in collaboration with staff, consumers and key stakeholders to enable our vision of health and wellbeing through person‑centred care.
* Deliver independent high level Occupational Therapy clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to manage a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
* Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient‑centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
* Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced Occupational Therapy practitioners and students as delegated.
Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $157 359 p.a., comprising salary rates: $64.64 - $69.55 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Fixed term temporary part position, 30.4 hrs p.f. for up to 12 months).
