We're seeking an experienced Montessori Guide to lead our Early Starters program at our vibrant, community-focused Montessori Centre. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, along with a recognised 0-3 Montessori qualification. You'll shape the early development of children, setting them on a lifelong path of curiosity and learning.
Position Objective:
As a Montessori Guide, you will develop and deliver a high-quality Montessori educational program for children aged 18 months to 3 years. You'll provide educational leadership while working collaboratively with our team and engaging with parents to foster a nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement a developmentally appropriate Montessori program in consultation with educators and parents.
* Maintain a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for all children.
* Supervise and support staff and volunteers, fostering a cooperative team culture.
* Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and program updates.
* Lead the preparation and upkeep of the Montessori environment.
Details:
* Start Date: Flexible, with the option to start this year with reduced hours or commence full-time on 16th January 2025 (Term 1 commences 20th January 2025)
* Hours: Full Time 8:00am - 4:00pm
* Days: Monday to Friday
* Award: Children's Services Award
Please note that work during term holidays is required. Centre will close over Christmas break.

* Recognised Montessori Qualification (0-3 years) - essential
* Relevant experience in a similar role
