Support Worker Job Description
We are seeking passionate and caring individuals to make a positive impact in the lives of our Aged Care clients by assisting them to maintain their independence and live at home for as long as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out general household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, changing beds and washing.
* Providing transport to appointments and shopping.
* Preparing meals for clients.
* Offering social support or respite to family members and carers.
* Assisting with personal care including showering and dressing where qualified and trained.
Requirements:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude.
