This is a privately owned Australian wool products manufacturing company based in South West Sydney.
With over 20 years' experience, they specialise in wool products covering an array of items such as wool bedding, clothing, outdoor products and commercial wool filters.
They design, manufacture, and market an exclusive range of luxury specialty wool bedding, all made with Australian fibre.
Products are sold around Australia and exported worldwide to the USA, Korea, China, Taiwan, Russia, and Europe.
The Role - Machine Operator (Manufacturing)
A fantastic opportunity exists for a motivated and reliable Machine Operator to join this successful and stable manufacturing business.
The position is full-time and permanent, offering long-term security and excellent working conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation : Operate production machinery safely and efficiently to meet output targets.
Monitoring & Inspection : Check machines during operation and inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
Maintenance & Cleaning : Carry out basic maintenance, cleaning and minor repairs to keep machines in good working order.
Safety Compliance : Follow all company safety procedures and wear the correct PPE at all times.
Material Handling : Load and unload materials, and move products as required.
Troubleshooting : Identify and report equipment faults or process issues promptly.li>
Record Keeping : Maintain accurate production and quality logs and report to supervisors.
To apply for this position you must have the following skills :
Experience operating production or processing machinery.
Basic understanding of measurements, tolerances, and production processes.
Ability to monitor, inspect and adjust machines.
Understanding of basic mechanical or technical processes.
Good communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Forklift licence highly regarded, but not mandatory.
