About The Role
The Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in our Marketing and Visitor Economy section.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage the production and implementation of compelling graphic design services.
You will serve as brand custodians, providing creative design advice and developing innovative visual communication tools to support key projects and initiatives.
Your work will involve producing a wide range of high-quality visual materials, enabling effective communication with our community and maintaining the highest design standards across all publications, both printed and electronic.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creativity, technical skills, and a customer-oriented mindset.
Degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or extensive experience in a similar role.
Proficient in MS Office and contemporary graphic design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva.
Strong ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create effective visual communication pieces.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Other Important Information
The commencing salary for this position is up to $***** per hour.
Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $***** per hour on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation.
We have two temporary part-time roles available (up to 21 hours per week) until February ****.
We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role.
This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building.
