ERH services the Shire of Campaspe and the cross-border Murray River Council. Echuca Moama and townships are located directly across the state border from one another, separated by the Murray River.

Applications are sought from suitably qualified Speech Pathologists to work in the Speech Pathology department at Echuca Regional Health. Fantastic opportunity for 2023/24 Graduates - Grade 1 Speech role would suit a newly graduated or soon to graduate Speech Pathologist with the opportunity to take part in various rotations across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Delivery of individually-tailored services to children and adults with speech, language, communication and/or swallowing difficulties;
2. Participation in the education and quality programs of the speech pathology team;
3. Preparation of professional written reports;
4. Clinical Education of Undergraduate students from time-to-time, as appropriate depending on level of experience.
Our team requires someone who has:
5. A demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice;
6. Passion for working with individuals and groups of clients with communication and swallowing impairments;
7. Willingness to work across a number of program areas;
8. An ability to work effectively in teams;
9. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and self-awareness;
10. Evidence of membership of Speech Pathology Australia, including participation in the Professional Self-Regulation Program;
11. Experience working with NDIS participants highly desirable.
