About the Position
We are looking to welcome a Psychologist to provide outstanding therapeutic services in a holistic, trauma-informed, and developmentally focused way, to children, young people, and their families.
* Level 6 SCHCADS Award.
* Salary range: $110,110, $114,984 + Superannuation.
* Full time position until 8 January 2027.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing an outstanding therapeutic service to children, young people and their families in the Nambour area.
* Encouraging and strengthening supportive relationships with adult caregivers.
* Enhancing therapeutic and psychosocial outcomes for children and young people impacted by trauma.
* Provide trauma-informed psychological assessments and interventions as part of an integrated team.
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in Psychology.
* Registration as a psychologist with AHPRA (essential).
* Membership of the Australian Psychological Society (desirable).
* At least two years' experience working with children, young people and their families who have been impacted by trauma or experienced abuse and neglect, or at least two years' experience working in similar roles.
* Experience providing individual and group therapy to children, young people and their families.
* Clinical and therapeutic understanding of the impacts of trauma on child and family functioning.
* Knowledge of current trauma treatment trends and child protection legislation and policy reforms.
Other Requirements
* Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
* Current driver's licence.
* Legal ability to work in Australia (proof of eligibility required).
