Are you passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences? Oval Hotel is seeking a Demi Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Demi Chef, you will play a hands-on role in delivering high quality dishes, supporting our Sous Chef and ensuring smooth operations across the hotel.
To be successful in this position, you will be passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences through preparing world-class meals, and have the personal drive to take your culinary career to the next level.
What you'll be doing
Providing food services to a world class standard across Bespoke Wine Bar & Kitchen, and the hotel's 24-hour room service.
Delivering food offerings from casual to fine dining, as well as buffets, banquets and other contemporary menus.
Working with the team on the introduction and implementation of new and innovative menus.
Managing inventory and contributing to efficient kitchen operations.
What you'll bring
At least 3 years experience as a qualified Chef.
Experience in the Food and Beverage industry, preferably within high-volume restaurant environments.
Experience working in large teams with bulk catering production/operations.
Experience in working in areas such as a la carte and fine dining.
Knowledge and experience in HACCP programs.
