Business Analyst & Senior Business Analyst About the Client:
Our client is a government agency dedicated to making life easier, accessible, and equitable for individuals and families across Australia. They are currently seeking experienced Business Analysts to join their team for a long-term temporary assignment lasting 12 months.
About the Role: As a Business Analyst, your responsibilities include identifying opportunities to improve internal service delivery processes and systems to enhance client experiences. Your key duties are:
Identify and document current business processes to establish baseline understanding. Design and facilitate process improvements through business and systems process analysis. Provide program/stream level analysis and produce necessary documentation. Support the Product Owner in elaborating user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps with input from SMEs. Assist the Product Owner with internal systems usage. Evaluate the effectiveness of proposed solutions and designs. Lead the transition of business requirements to development teams. Support verification testing to ensure solutions align with business requirements. About You: To succeed in this role, you should have:
Experience in Business Process Analysis within government, disability, aged care, or healthcare sectors. Proficiency in analyzing and documenting current versus future state process maps. Ability to elicit, document, and manage business requirements into Epics and User Stories. Experience in systems testing against acceptance criteria during development cycles. Facilitation skills for stakeholder workshops. Data analysis skills to identify trends and insights. Familiarity with agile methodologies like Agile or Kanban. Knowledge of tools such as Jira and Confluence for documentation and workflow management. Benefits: ASAP start date pending clearance. Casual, 12-month temporary assignment. Full-time hours, Monday to Friday. Hourly rate of $60.26 - $80.34 + super. Locations: Geelong or Melbourne VIC, Brisbane QLD, Sydney NSW.
