About the Role
Team Global Express is seeking a reliable and motivated Wash Bay Operator / Wash Bay Attendant to join our team in Tennyson, QLD on a permanent full-time basis. This is a hands-on role responsible for cleaning and maintaining our fleet to ensure vehicles are safe, presentable, and ready for daily operations. You'll play a key part in supporting operational efficiency while maintaining high safety and presentation standards. The role operates on a Monday to Friday roster with 5:00am starts, with Saturday work available. We are particularly seeking candidates with flexibility to work Saturday shifts when required.
Key Responsibilities
* Wash, clean, and maintain company vehicles to a high standard
* Conduct basic inspections and report any damage or maintenance issues
* Keep the wash bay area and equipment clean, organised, and safe
* Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including PPE requirements
* Assist with vehicle preparation as required by operations
* Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and any issues identified
About You
* Experience in vehicle washing, detailing, or fleet maintenance (preferred but not essential)
* Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
* Commitment to safety and ability to follow procedures
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision
* Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
* Physically fit and capable of manual tasks (lifting, bending, standing)
* Able to work early starts (5:00am) and flexible to work Saturday shifts when required
