Launch Recruitment are partnering with a state government agency where you will be working to ensure effective risk management practices are in place and being followed.
**The Role**
Reporting into the Information & Security Director, this role sits in the Information Management and Technology Division, whereby their function is to provide innovative IT systems, services and support. As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to influence the new way of working in the department.
**Your will be responsible for**:
- Staff recruitment to meet workforce needs, supporting staff developmental needs and individual performance management
- Delegation of security risk and assurance activities
- Establishing and governing security risk structures and processes
- Mapping existing processes and controls, identifying potential risks and designing assurance programs to illustrate effectiveness
- Verification of external partners and suppliers to substantiate compliance through regular monitoring
**About you**
- Extensive experience in a technology risk, security or compliance role
- Strong understanding of information security controls and ISMS standards such as ISO 27001/2, CobIT and CRISC
- Experience leading an internal assurance team to demonstrate compliance and treatment controls are operating effectively
- Experience establishing third party assurance programs to monitor compliance to information security standards
- Strong stakeholder management skills
