* Facilitate mediation and family work with young people at risk of homelessness and their families to reduce the risk of youth homelessness.

Do your skills include:

* Ability to make timely, sound case work decisions and assessments regarding risk and protective factors that relate to the immediate needs and longer-term goals of children and young people.
* Demonstrate a sound understanding of the challenges faced by young people who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness, or transitioning from Out of Home Care, with a proven ability to engage, coach and case manage young people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences to achieve improved outcomes.
* Deliver program activities and interventions that promote Advantaged Thinking and contribute to improved outcomes for young people.

Are your credentials:

* A minimum qualification of a sector recognised and accredited Bachelor of Social Work or Diploma in Community Services or equivalent. (Qualifications must be approved by recognised professional bodies: i.e. AASW, Community Services Council, APS etc.)
* A current Drivers Licence.

Please Note : To ensure we can provide the highest quality support to young people, this role requires a minimum qualification of a sector-recognised and accredited Diploma of Community Services or Bachelor of Social Work (or equivalent).

We recognise the valuable experience and dedication Cert IV holders bring to the sector. However, due to the level of responsibility in this role, a Diploma-level qualification or higher is required. If you’re currently studying or working towards further qualifications, we encourage you to continue, your passion and commitment are truly valued, and we’d love to see you apply for future roles as they become available.
