LB Concrete Solutions is a thriving developed business undertaking structural concrete packages within the commercial building sector throughout Melbourne.
Since business began in 2015, our workforce has grown significantly. We now employ approximately 60 skilled and dedicated employees who have chosen fields of expertise varying from concrete to steelfixing, formwork, machine operations and everything in-between.
We also have a fantastic team of office-based staff whose diligence and vast knowledge of the construction industry allow us to take on a range of both structural commercial and civil projects with confidence.

We are looking for self-motivated person(s) with experience in concrete structures and foreman management of projects, which is inclusive of client engagement right through to handing over of a project at completion. The ideal candidates will be experienced in the below mentioned requirements. LB Concrete Solutions projects range from up to $5 Million to $30 Million in value.
Requirements & Skills Concrete Structures Foreman
* Experienced in all aspects of detailed excavation, formwork, reinforcement, concrete and precast panels
* Ability to give concise direction, to a range of employees and subcontractors of different skill sets
* Able to be an integral part of the team and provide leadership
* Have the ability to accurately read all types of construction plans
* Take responsibility for allotted tasks, a good work ethic and have pride in the completed job
* Ability to book inspections and forecast programmed works
* Depending on project size and type, the role can require being on the tools and providing direction to the allocated team on site.
* Experienced in use of associated machinery, tools and care thereof
* Solid understanding of OHS Procedures, and compliance with Industry OHS Procedures
* Managing the sub-contractors to ensure they are fulfilling their roles and responsibilities, monitoring their performance daily, in regard to safety, quality, program and report deficiencies to the Project Manager
* Previous experience of structural concrete packages over $5 Million would be highly advantageous
* Managing cost control for certain aspects of the project, as directed by the Project Manager, in order to ensure the project meets its required performance targets in relation to budget
* Hold a General Safety Awareness Card - Red / White Card
* Driver's License essential.

* Current driver's licence and own transport
The work is never the same and varies from day to day. Experience is certainly required but attitude is key, the right candidates must have a pro-active, can-do attitude and above all must be a team player. Flexible hours of work will be required from time to time to meet deadlines.
