TheNational Manager Resources and Regional Developmentis responsible fordriving Qantas Group's commercial performance across the national resource sector.
This positionis responsible forleading and developing a high performing sales team across Australia's resourceandmining portfolio with accountability for all FIFO charter operations and integrated operational support for resource sector customers. As the senior Qantas commercial leader inWestern Australia, therole alsoserves as the primary face of the Qantas brand, representing Group interests with government officials, community stakeholdersandindustry partners
Key objectives include maximising resource sectorperformancethrough the development of an effective national strategy integrating scheduled services and charter operations,identifying new growth opportunitiesand ensuring operational excellence in FIFO service delivery critical to mining operations.
* 15+ years relevant professional experience in B2B Sales/Client Management
* leadership, preferably with resource sector, mining industry, or complex operational B2B environment experience
* Proventrack recordmanaging large, complex accounts with C-suite engagement
* Strong commercial leadership witha track recordin senior enterprise sales and strategic business development
* Experience in aviation, charter operations, or complexlogisticsoperations highly
* Exceptional commercial acumen with ability to deliver value through complex contract negotiation and integrated sales strategies.
* Highly developed stakeholder management and negotiation skills to influence outcomes in complex procurement settings.
* Experience partnering with operational teams to ensure service excellence in aviation, charter, or complexlogisticsenvironments.
* Tertiary qualifications in commerce,businessor a related discipline
* Demonstrated people leadership capability, including managing geographically dispersed teams and driving change initiatives.
* Strategic and analytical capability to interpret resource sector trends and inform commercial strategy.
