Job Description
The Opportunity
We seek a dynamic and proactive Community Coordinator to collaborate in the development and delivery of community programs and events across Alice Springs.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Managing the development, delivery, and evaluation of community events and initiatives
* Providing effective staff management and leading a diverse team
* Engaging with key stakeholders and collaborating across directorates
* Preparing high-quality reports and presentations
* Managing grant applications and acquittals
You will need:
* Minimum two years' experience in community development or related field
* Proven ability to plan, promote, deliver, and evaluate community projects and events
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships
* Strong staff management experience and leadership skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to demonstrate great organisation, problem-solving, and time management skills
* Ability to oversee program budgets and exercise sound financial judgement
