Salary range $102,696 -$113,473 plus statutory super

About the role
This role will require you to:
9. Drive, manage and lead successful recruitment and talent acquisition (end to end) for the VIT within agreed KPIs - including job advertising, candidate success profiles and skills matrices, candidate administration and screening, sourcing talent, interview planning, reference checking and onboarding to meet agreed KPIs
10. Design and lead the implementation of a recruitment and talent acquisition/retention strategy and planning cycles, in line with business goals and forecasts.
11. Utilise innovative and contemporary sourcing strategies to identify and attract high-quality candidates.
12. Manage all recruitment pre-employment screening in line with the Australian and New Zealand Standard on Employment Screening (as amended and varied from time to time)
13. Consult with branch managers and directors to understand recruitment needs and successfully use this information to undertake comprehensive workforce planning.
14. Advocate employment brand and provide best practice candidate management, including ensuring seamless transition to onboarding.
15. Build strong internal business partnerships and external relationships with labor hire agencies that deliver excellent recruitment outcomes.
16. Provide coaching and support to panel members to support a quality candidate focused process and the recruitment of the most skilled, engaged and safe talent.
17. Ensure appropriate governance of position descriptions and role classifications.
18. Provide recruitment and job market insights by staying up to date with industry best practice and legal requirements.
19. Monitor and analyse recruitment data to ensure the delivery of key performance objectives and to use this to drive continuous improvement activities.
20. Enhance gender equality, inclusion and diversity within VIT recruitment processes and activities.
21. Conduct & review exit interview data for trends that may affect recruitment and address any issue in the process.
About you
As an experienced recruitment manager you will have sound and practical knowledge of current practices in attraction and retention strategies. You will have experience in managing end to end recruitment campaigns and ideally a passion for child safety and experience working within the education sector.
You will have strong organisational skills combined with a proven track record in in recruitment and in addition to this, as the successful candidate, you will have:
22. Proactive and able to initiate projects and plans relevant to the role, identify, and manage project risks and implement continuous improvement. Monitor performance against objectives, establish systems and procedures to guide work and track progress against KPIs
23. Demonstrated listening skills, and the capacity to build rapport and maintain successful relationships relevant to the role.
24. Ability to work collaboratively across the business, demonstrating alignment with agreed VIT behaviours.
25. Demonstrated, well-developed time management and organisational skills with the ability to set clearly defined objectives and priorities, recognise potential barriers and find effective ways to deal with them.
26. Resilient and maintain a consistent and sensible pattern of behaviour under pressure and enjoys a vigorous and dynamic work environment.
27. Able to demonstrate personal insight and a commitment to personal and professional growth by seeing challenges and failures as opportunities., learning from feedback.
28. Qualifications in HR or extensive demonstrated experience within a talent acquisition or recruitment function or a similar role as a human resources practitioner.
