Job Description
This is an ongoing full-time role located in the Central Tablelands LLS region. As the leader of business services, you will be responsible for managing a team to deliver external services and support regional finance and administration.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Team Management: Lead the Business Service team to ensure efficient delivery of external services and support regional finance and administration.
* Customer Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to engage with the community and key stakeholders enhancing understanding and commitment to local government functions.
* Administrative Systems: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of administrative and financial systems including procurement asset control and fleet management.
* Financial Operations: Support daily financial operations ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable.
* Budget and Reporting: Assist in budget development, financial analysis and report production.
* Stakeholder Communication: Prepare responses and provide balanced timely advice on stakeholder and customer issues.
* Process Improvement: Research and analyse business processes to identify efficiency improvements.
* Emergency Preparedness: Participate in emergency preparedness response and recovery activities.
