THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the part-time Payroll Officer will assist with the processing of a fortnightly payroll of around 700 local, and internationally based employees including:
Maintenance of the Time & Attendance to ensure correct information is reflected (including leave taken)
Assistance with monthly international payroll (outsourced vendor maintenance)
Initiate payment of fortnightly wages and superannuation processing via banking and clearing house on-line systems
Process new employee details and in association with the Payroll Manager process terminations
Respond to staff enquiries promptly and professionally
Maintain payroll and Company procedures in line with current practices, awards and EBA
Assist with month end and year end procedures as required
IDEAL APPLICANTS
At least 4 years payroll processing experience (using "in demand" Tier 2 payroll software products)
EBA exposure
Skilled presentation, first-class customer service focus
