Job Title: Corporate Communications Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a Corporate Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Public and Corporate Affairs department, you will play a supporting role in the development and delivery of external communications, internal communications, and provide an internal corporate affairs consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the development and delivery of external communications, internal communications, and provide an internal corporate affairs consultancy.
* Assist the Executive Manager, Public & Corporate Affairs to protect and promote Hostplus' reputation, brand, and standing, both within the superannuation sector and with the public more generally.
* Identify potential reputational risks and support the response to current affairs and commentary on other forums and channels.
* Work with the Fund's external media agency to create and respond to media and event opportunities that give Hostplus the opportunity to promote its brand, brand pillars, benefits, and distinctive advantages.
* Support the promulgation of the fund's policy positions and activation through media and other channels.
Requirements:
* A strong knowledge of the Australian retirement income policy environment and the superannuation sector in particular.
* Applied experience with superannuation processes and procedures.
* A high level of risk and compliance awareness, especially as applied to superannuation funds' marketing strategies and activities.
* Superior relationship and organising skills.
* The ability to work closely and proactively with key stakeholders across a range of business levels.
* The ability to uphold integrity with confidential and sensitive market information.
* The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while maintaining a sense of perspective and discipline.
* The ability to positively influence, lead, and manage others.
* The ability to communicate with impact and produce quality communications and reports.
