Heavy Haulage Operator Position
Job Description:
Mammoet is seeking a Heavy Haulage Operator to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing route plans and schedules, operating a truck and assigned trailer(s), loading, unloading and verifying the equipment, and ensuring the equipment, material and load are delivered in a safely and timely fashion.
Responsibilities Include:
* Executing daily route plans with precision and accuracy;
* Operating heavy haulage equipment including trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner;
* Loading and unloading equipment and materials with care and attention to detail;
* Conducting thorough inspections of equipment and trailers prior to use;
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects;
* Ensuring all safety protocols and regulations are adhered to at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Applicants must possess the following skills and qualifications:
* A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in heavy haulage or a related field;
* A valid CDL driver's license and White Card certification;
* Excellent communication and situational analysis skills;
* Basic level experience in rigging operations;
* Professional level experience in securing loads;
* Evidence of experience in similar roles within civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports, and mining sectors.
