The Venue & Role:
Tourism Adventure Group are looking for an energetic hospitality professional to be the next Venue Manager at KB's Noosa.
KB's Noosa is a Noosa institution. By far the best bar for a good time for students, backpackers, holiday-makers and locals alike. This is an amazing opportunity to lead the team at a venue that is excitingly positioned for even further growth.
The legend we are looking for must be able to demonstrate their proven ability to maximise profitability and take a hands-on approach to delivering the highest standards across all operational aspects of the venue. As well as implementing creative ideas and the hunger to apply them within a dynamic hospitality group that prides itself on creative energy & unique offerings.
This role will include elements from all areas of entertainment and food & beverage operations and will only be limited by your enthusiasm and work ethic.
Main areas of focus will be on sales, revenue growth, further developing key relationships in the region and running an extremely successful and interactive entertainment offering seven nights a week.
Applicants must be able to show they meet our requirements:
Applicants must have an outstanding F&B skill set and a proven history of managing busy bars and/or nightclubs.
Proven track record of being able to meet budget targets for revenue, wage costs & COGS.
Ability to develop, lead and manage a team
You will need:
* At least 2 years' experience as a principal bar/nightclub manager
* Proven track record in successful licenced venues
* Comprehensive knowledge of social media techniques and management
* In depth experience in the management of licencing compliance and OH&S requirements
* To be capable of training and managing a dynamic, diverse and changing workforce
* To value your staff and be capable of striking a balance between a fun and fulfilling work environment and efficient, friendly service
* Proven record in event creation from concept & planning through to delivery
* An appreciation for the significance and importance of entertainment and variety
* The utmost respect for guests and the experiences they have with us
* Extensive knowledge of margin management and expense/wage controls
* An awareness of food & beverage trends but a desire to be different and unique
* To be self motivated & outgoing with a willingness to experiment, change & explore new ideas
* To be personally driven to create an outstanding environment and exceed guest expectations
* A clear understanding of the components that create a successful licenced venue and the ability to make it happen
* A hands on work ethic, strong leadership qualities and a willingness to manage from the front
