About the Role:

Duties:
* Preparing the monthly rolling forecast for the NSW Capital Program, covering both major and minor projects.
* Compiling and submitting requests to NSW Treasury, including explanations and supporting details.
* Overseeing the process for priority minor capital projects.
* Contributing to the financial sections of the Asset Management Plans.
* Creating and maintaining the ten-year Capital Investment Plan for the department.
* Offering financial guidance to key stakeholders on current capital projects or other finance-related topics.
* Providing input and advice on proposed new capital projects.
About You:
* Experience within management accounting for capital projects within state or federal government.
* CPA qualification needed for this position.
* A strong technical background in SAP.
* Prime (Treasury Reporting System) experience desired but not a must.
* Proven track record within Capital Major or Minor Projects.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* An intelligent, proactive, and forward-thinking approach.
