* Permanent Full Time opportunity available (9 day fortnight)
* Minimum 2 years experience working in administration or operations in Local Government.
* LGO3 ($71,806 - $77,515 per annum + superannuation) based on skills, qualifications and experience.

About the Role

This position plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service to a broad range of customer across multiple contact channels and locations and working collaboratively across Council to champion our purpose of Growing Townsville and to deliver the Corporate Plan in consultation with the Townsville Community.

Ensuring a high level of customer service and professionalism is provided to the community and council customers by effectively managing customer enquiries, service requests, applications, and transactions across multiple service delivery channels with accuracy.

About You

Our successful applicant will bring well developed customer interaction capabilities gained from working in customer contact environments, along with high level administrative, cashiering and computing skills.

Keyboard accuracy and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite are essential. Knowledge of records management practices, including computerised records management systems, is highly desirable, as is a sound understanding of Council business management systems
