Job Description:
Our client is Australia's leading steel manufacturing and distribution company. They are seeking an experienced, dependable, and safety-conscious Water Truck/Sweeper Truck Driver to join their team. This role is essential for maintaining clean, dust-controlled roadways and job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate water trucks to control dust on construction sites and other areas as required.
2. Operate mechanical sweeper trucks in parking lots and industrial areas.
3. Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles before and after use.
4. Safely load, unload, and refill water tanks.
5. Complete driver logs and daily maintenance records.
6. Report any vehicle issues or safety concerns promptly.
7. Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Valid HR license (minimum); tanker endorsement preferred.
- Clean driving record with at least 2 years of commercial driving experience.
- Experience operating water or street sweeper trucks is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, with strong attention to detail.
