Quality Assurance Manager
Suncorp Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the quality requirements for Protect Me and My Business Tribe.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, with 2-6 years of QA management experience in large-scale projects. They should also have a strong understanding of commercial insurance and be certified as an ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level.
The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for implementing the tribe's test strategy, planning and coordinating test activities, designing and executing tests, and supporting non-production environment requirements.
In addition, the Quality Assurance Manager will collaborate with stakeholders to define test environments, test data, and non-production environment availability, and maintain thorough documentation of test strategies, plans, and results.
We're looking for someone who can work collaboratively in an Agile environment, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and adapt to changing priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advocate for stakeholders on test frameworks and emphasize the importance of testing in delivering high-quality products and services.
* Create and implement comprehensive test strategies that outline testing objectives, scope, resource plans, RACI's, defect management processes, and schedules.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define test environment governance processes, test data, and non-production environment availability, considering different testing types (e.g., functional, regression, non-functional, production verification testing).
* Maintain thorough documentation of test strategies, test plans, test cases, test results, requirement traceability matrices, and other testing artifacts.
* Coordinate, coach, and support team members in all aspects of test phases, including system testing, system integration testing, business acceptance testing, production verification testing (PVT), and business regression testing (BRT).
About You:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance industry.
* 2-6 years of QA management experience in large-scale projects.
* Strong understanding of commercial insurance.
* Certified as an ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level.
* Experience working in an Agile environment.
* Advanced stakeholder engagement skills combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
