Manky Sally's, Moo Brew's Salamanca taphouse, is one of Hobart's quirkiest and most welcoming venues. We sling world-class Moo Brew beers alongside innovative, Asian-inspired, and flavour-packed food. We focus on sustainably sourced, high-quality local produce, challenging our chefs to think outside the box.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with the Venue Manager to design and implement exceptional seasonal menus.
* Manage smooth service periods, ensure consistently high product standards, and oversee strict adherence to WHS and hygiene regulations.
* Guide, mentor, and roster all kitchen staff, manage timesheets, and foster a collaborative environment across all service and non-service periods.
* Oversee ordering, stock management, and supplier relationships to minimize food costs, wastage, and spoilage.
* Act as a key senior member of the venue, managing kitchen presentation, cleaning, and asset management.
The You
* Significant leadership experience in a comparable, high-volume venue.
* A creative, confident cooking style with a deep passion for quality produce and food hygiene.
* A positive, enthusiastic leader who excels at motivating teams, delivering and receiving feedback, and collaborating with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities, capable of maintaining high standards under pressure and adapting to seasonal 7-day peak trading patterns.
