Job Description
As a key member of our research team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our understanding of palliative and end-of-life care. You will lead collaborative efforts to drive cross-disciplinary research, foster partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, and strengthen our reputation as a centre of excellence.
* Conduct innovative and high-quality research that addresses pressing issues in palliative care;
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry partners and professional bodies;
* Supervise and mentor early and mid-career researchers, and supervise higher degree students;
* Engage in guest lecturing to inspire and encourage students and colleagues;
* Collaborate with colleagues to advance the College's research mission and promote wellbeing and better care and support for individuals and communities across the lifespan.
Key Qualifications
We are seeking an experienced academic or leader who possesses:
* A proven track record of translating research into meaningful policy outcomes;
* Substantial experience in senior academic or leadership roles;
* A sustained research profile, with a focus aligned to the research strengths of our Centre;
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders across national and international contexts;
* Completion of a PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline;
* Experience and successful track record in supervision of higher degree students.
