What Does a Typical Day Look Like?
* Act as a Client Relationship Manager, keeping clients informed via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
* Managing a diverse portfolio of SME clients, providing end-to-end compliance services including preparation and review of financial statements, income tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT, and other obligations
* Delivering value-added advisory services including tax planning, structuring advice, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting
* Preparing tax plans and addressing key tax issues proactively, ensuring clients are optimally structured and informed
* Acting as a trusted advisor to business owners, CEOs, CFOs, and key stakeholders within client organisations
* Supporting, mentoring, and providing guidance to junior and intermediate accountants, including technical training and workflow support
* Conducting timely workpaper and job reviews, ensuring high standards of technical accuracy and consistency
* Analysing financial performance and providing recommendations to improve profitability, efficiency, and business growth
* Liaising directly with clients, the ATO, and other external bodies in relation to compliance, correspondence, and queries
What We're Looking For
* Bachelor of Business and CA/CPA qualification (or near completion).
* 3+ years' experience in Australian public practice.
* Strong technical expertise in compliance and advisory services.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Leadership mindset with ability to mentor and elevate team members.
* Strategic thinker with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
