Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Housing Officers to join our team in Tasmania. The successful candidates will work directly with residents to manage tenancy relationships, maintain accurate records, and provide integrated tenancy support.
About the Role
You will have a stronger focus on customer service, tenancy sustainment, and building trusted relationships with our clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing tenancies, including rent arrears, property inspections, and tenancy risks.
* Collaborating with internal teams to deliver integrated tenancy support.
* Maintaining accurate tenancy records and compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience managing tenancies in social, community, or public housing.
* Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence, particularly when working with vulnerable people.
* A strong understanding of the complex challenges facing tenants at risk of homelessness or disadvantage.
* Highly organized, compassionate, and able to work collaboratively across teams.
* The ability to navigate housing regulations and keep clear, professional records.
