About TASCORP

TASCORP is Tasmania's central financing authority, providing treasury and financial services to the State Government and its agencies., TASCORP plays a critical role in supporting the State's financial stability and growth. They are seeking a People & Culture Partner to join their team and provide expert guidance and support on all people and culture matters.

About the role

This role is pivotal in ensuring TASCORP meets its obligations as an employer while fostering a positive and high-performing workplace culture. Reporting to the Senior Manager Corporate Services and Governance, you will lead initiatives that align with our people and culture strategy and deliver practical solutions across HR, compliance, and wellbeing.

In this role, you will manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, induction, performance reviews, and exit processes. You will oversee learning and development programs, ensuring compliance training requirements are met, and implement initiatives to strengthen workplace culture and wellbeing. You will also manage work health and safety activities, including facilitating quarterly WHS Committee meetings and driving wellness programs. Additionally, you will provide sound advice on policies, procedures, entitlements, and remuneration, while maintaining accurate records and reporting to the Board on P\&C activities.

To be successful

To succeed, you will bring strong technical knowledge of employment legislation and workplace relations, combined with experience across strategic and operational HR functions. You will have the ability to operate autonomously, translate complex regulatory requirements into practical policies and engaging training programs and demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement. Exceptional interpersonal skills, initiative, emotional intelligence, and the ability to build collaborative relationships are essential, along with a high level of discretion and attention to detail.

A tertiary qualification in human resources, commerce, business management or a related discipline is desirable, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience.
