Test Analyst Role
We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst to join our project for a leading Federal Government client.
The initial contract duration is until 30 June 2025, with potential 12-month extensions available.
This role offers flexibility for hybrid working, with the option to work from client offices in Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Brisbane.
Candidates must be Australian Citizens and possess a minimum of baseline Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) clearance.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Test Analyst to contribute to the success of our project. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing detailed test plans and test cases based on requirements and technical specifications.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases
* Identifying, logging, and tracking defects
* Liaising with analysts and developers to resolve issues
* Working closely with development teams to ensure thorough testing of modules and applications
* Contributing to test automation strategy and utilizing test automation tools for efficiency and cost reduction
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
* Proven experience in Java, Azure, Usability, and Accessibility including scripting and framework development
* Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, Performance Testing, or similar
* Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities
