We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Construction Materials leadership team. The Senior Human Resources Business Partner is a permanent, full-time position based in either
Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney.
Reporting directly to the COO – Construction Materials, this is a senior strategic and operational role providing expert HR guidance across multiple sites and business units.
The Opportunity
As the Senior HRBP, you will:
Act as the key advisor for all people-related matters within the Construction Materials business unit.
Partner with General Managers and senior leaders to deliver HR strategy, policies, and workforce planning that align with operational and growth objectives.
Provide hands-on support across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and leadership development.
Guide managers through industrial relations, employee engagement, and organisational development matters with confidence and integrity.
Influence culture, capability, and retention strategies across a large, agile workforce.
About You
We are looking for an experienced HR leader with:
8+ years of senior HR generalist experience with strong exposure to industrial relations and employee relations.
A proven ability to partner with executives and senior managers, influencing decision-making in a complex, rapid-paced setting.
Experience in construction, manufacturing, or a similar industrial sector (highly desirable).
Strong coaching, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
A tertiary qualification in HR, Business, or a related discipline.
Flexibility to travel interstate as required.
