Casual patient transport officer (port kembla)

Provide compassionate and reliable customer‐focused transport services ensuring the well‐being of patients across the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District. This role delivers a high level of customer‐focused service to patients, clients, the general public and staff for transport throughout the district and is cas‐ual at Port Kembla Hospital. • Provide secure and efficient transport from and to the Illawarra Local Health District and other facilities.
• Ensure patient safety and well‐being during transport.
• Maintain transport equipment and report any issues.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and child‐safe standards.
• Assist with first aid and emergency response as required.

• Valid NSW Driver's Licence and ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles.
• Current First Aid Certificate or Senior First Aid Certificate.
• Applicable vaccination for CategoryA role.
• Availability for casual shifts at Port Kembla Hospital.
