Summary
As the Host, you are responsible for welcoming and seating guests in an upbeat and professional manner, helping to create a positive and friendly dining environment. You support the daily operations of the outlet by managing guest flow, coordinating with service staff, and maintaining cleanliness and readiness of the dining area to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
* Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
* Greet guests warmly and escort them to tables while managing incoming calls and guest inquiries
* Ensure tables are properly set and station readiness meets department standards throughout the shift
* Communicate effectively with servers when seating guests outside of designated sections
* Maintain and inspect menus for cleanliness and availability
* Assist with guest accommodations, including seating guests with disabilities or children
* Communicate VIP arrivals or guest special requests to appropriate personnel
* Resolve guest issues or complaints promptly, or elevate to a manager when necessary
* Maintain working knowledge of the menu, including current specials
* Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
* Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
* Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* 6 months of experience in a full‐service dining venue preferred
* Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast‐paced environment
* Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
* Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety‐conscious work environment
Requirements
* At least 18 years of age
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
* Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
* Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements
* Frequently push/pull, lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
* Regularly squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist

* Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person
