Your new role
As a Trade Assistant, you'll support technicians and engineers in the assembly, testing, and maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical equipment-particularly pump systems and related components. You'll gain exposure to modern workshop practices and work alongside experienced technical specialists.
Assist in the assembly and build of hydraulic components and pump systems.
Support technicians with hydraulic testing, pressure checks, and unit preparation.
Perform mechanical assembly, tooling, part handling, and workbench setup.
Maintain a clean, safe, and well organised workshop environment.
Follow engineering guidelines, work instructions, and safety procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience with hydraulics and pump building/assembly is essential.
Previous workshop or mechanical Trade Assistant background.
Strong mechanical aptitude and comfortable with hand/power tools.
Reliable, safety focused, and proactive in assisting technical teams.
Physically fit with the ability to perform manual handling tasks.
