About the Role
Our organization is seeking Behaviour Support Practitioners to work in an environment that fosters the advancement of clinical skills. In this role, you will provide a combination of community, clinic, and telehealth-based services to individuals of all ages.
The overall aim of the Behaviour Support Practitioner role is to improve a person's quality of life and that of those around them.
We are looking for professionals with excellent relationship-building skills, experience conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs), and the ability to develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans.
The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of NDIS guidelines and be able to review and reduce restrictive practices.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Building relationships with clients and key stakeholders
* Conducting FBAs and developing Behaviour Support Plans
* Providing training and education to stakeholders
* Reviewing and reducing restrictive practices
* Regular data collection and monitoring progress
Requirements
* Experience working with the NDIS, endorsed against the PBS Capability Framework
* Minimum 1 year's experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
* A relevant Bachelor's Degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy)
* NDISWC / WWCC (or willingness to apply)
* Current Australian driver's license and ability to travel with your own vehicle
