For an experienced Senior Bookkeeper, Business Bookkeeper or Bookkeeper to provide bookkeeping services and advise businesses across the Fitzroy and wider regions of Melbourne, VIC.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial bookkeeper or public practice
* $90000 - $100000.00 Per annum with great career growth

A normal day includes
* Comprehensive Bookkeeping Services : Offering end-to-end bookkeeping services encompassing bank reconciliations, payroll, accounts payable, and management reporting, serving as the primary support for businesses nationwide.
* Client-Centric Approach : Maintaining close client relationships by proactively providing updates, promptly addressing inquiries, and consistently delivering a positive and memorable client experience.
* Collaborative Teamwork : Working in tandem with the Bookkeeping team, providing both support and technical guidance, while also offering training and mentorship to junior team members.
* Integration Across Departments : Collaborating with colleagues throughout the firm to ensure the seamless delivery of integrated advice on all opportunities.
* Efficient Workflow Management : Strategically planning and supervising project execution, task allocation, and ensuring timely and budget-conscious project completion.
* Process Enhancement and Compliance : Diligently following and continuously improving internal processes and procedures to ensure technical and legislative accuracy, adherence to 'next practice' standards, and the promotion of a culture of regulatory compliance..

You will need
* Bachelors degree in Business, Commerce or Finance
* 5 + years experience in a commercial bookkeeper or public practice
* A ' people-person' with uncompromising professionalism
* IT savvy with experience using Xero, Xero Add-Ons and GSuit
* Exemplary taxation and legislative knowledge
* Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
* Excellent prioritisation, time management and workflow planning abilities.
* Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
* Strong organisational skills
* Good attention to detail
