Contract Duration: 12 months Start Date: ASAP (subject to police clearance) Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day) About the Opportunity: An exciting opportunity exists for experienced SAP Functional Specialists (Finance Analysts) to join a high-performing team within a NSW Government agency. You will play a critical role in supporting end-to-end finance data migration, configuration, testing, and stakeholder engagement as part of a major SAP implementation program. Key Responsibilities: Collaboration & Requirement Gathering: Work closely with functional and technical teams to understand business requirements and finance processes. Gather and document data migration needs, ensuring alignment with SAP system architecture. Financial Data Analysis & Mapping: Analyse and validate source financial data for compatibility with SAP Finance structures. Develop and review data mapping templates for accurate transfer of master data, transactions, and balances. Lead the migration of Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) data, ensuring successful transfer of budgets, milestones, and resource allocations. SAP Configuration & Integration: Align data migration processes with SAP best practices and configuration standards. Troubleshoot finance integration issues within the SAP environment. Testing & Validation: Create and execute test scripts for data migration and system integration testing. Perform reconciliation activities and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Stakeholder Engagement & Documentation: Liaise with finance, accounting, and IT stakeholders to define and refine migration processes. Provide regular updates, escalate issues, and maintain documentation of all data migration processes and outcomes. Post-Migration Support: Deliver ongoing support to ensure migrated financial data functions as intended. Troubleshoot and resolve post-migration issues in collaboration with technical teams. Essential Requirements: Proven experience in SAP Finance data migration, configuration, and testing in large-scale programs. Strong understanding of finance systems, structures, and reporting. Demonstrated ability to manage complex datasets, reconciliation, and stakeholder collaboration. Experience with PPM data migration is highly desirable. Excellent written documentation and communication skills.
