Job Title: Estimating and Contract Administrator
The role of the Estimating and Contract Administrator is to support the successful delivery of construction projects. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is skilled in estimating, contract administration, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting
* Preparing estimates and bills of quantities for residential and commercial projects
* Managing contracts, variations, and supplier agreements
* Supporting procurement and liaising with suppliers and subcontractors
* Processing progress claims, invoices, and payment tracking
* Maintaining project documentation and compliance records
* Coordinating across teams for efficient project delivery
* Identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Requirements:
* A background in estimating (essential) and contract administration (advantageous)
* Strong organisational and analytical skills with a willingness to learn
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Experience with estimating and project management software
