Project Manager Role Overview
This is a challenging opportunity for experienced professionals to take on a key leadership role within our team.
The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects from initiation to completion, meeting customer expectations and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Planning and Control: Develop project plans, manage resources, coordinate stakeholders, and monitor progress to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
* Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to minimize potential impacts on projects.
* Communication and Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with customers, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and effective collaboration.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
* Team Leadership: Mentor and guide multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives and goals.
Requirements
* Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Project Management or equivalent experience.
* Skills: Proven expertise in financial cost control, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
* Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in Project Management and/or engineering on Defence sustainment support projects.
* Certifications: Australian Defence security clearance required.
