With over 40,000 restaurants, the Subway brand is the largest sandwich chain in the world. Due to continued growth across the globe we are looking to recruit motivated and driven Store Manager to join the Subway brand.
We are looking for a motivated individual to take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of our store. You will report to the Area Manager regularly and work closely with them to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
About the Role
The Store Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the Subway store, ensuring smooth daily operations, achievement of sales targets, compliance with brand standards, and the delivery of high-quality customer service. This is a hands-on role, requiring active involvement in store activities and team leadership.
You may currently be working as a Catering Manager, Store Manager or Restaurant Manager – or maybe you're an experienced Supervisor, Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager looking to progress your career. Key Responsibilities:
* Recruit, induct, train, and develop employees in line with Subway brand standards
* Create and manage staff schedules
* Check deliveries, match orders, and manage daily banking
* Prepare and maintain stock and sales records, employee timesheets, and payroll
* Manage cash balances and minimise wastage
* Ensure compliance with Subway and council guidelines
* Perform inventory management and stock control, including weekly stock takes and reporting
* Analyse weekly sales and inventory reports to improve business performance
* Maintain store cleanliness and presentation
* Implement in-store marketing materials in line with campaigns
* Ensure safety procedures are followed and provide a safe work environment
* Promote high levels of customer service among employees
* Handle unresolved or escalated customer complaints
* Monitor labour costs, food wastage, and sales KPIs
* Create a positive, performance-driven team culture
* Deliver a consistent, guest-focused store experience
Skills and Experience Required
* At least Diploma within a relevant field
* Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in the fast food or retail industry
* Positive, energetic, and hardworking attitude
* Basic computer knowledge
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong organisational skills
* Ability to work effectively under pressure

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
