This role is a critical position within our organization, requiring a dedicated and passionate individual to provide high-quality primary health care to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people living in the Greater Darwin Area.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive and culturally appropriate primary health care services.
* Cultivate strong relationships with community members and healthcare providers.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of Aboriginal culture and history. They will also be proficient in Microsoft applications and have experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Requirements
* Bachelor of Nursing or Certificate IV in Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (Practice).
* Current registration as an AHP/ Nurse with AHPRA.
* Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to Aboriginal culture and history.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
